So there’s a place called Buda and a place called Pest. What do these names mean? We need to know.
According to Wikipedia, the origins of the words “Buda” and “Pest” are obscure. But Buda may have been named after Attila’s brother, and Pest may have been named after a fortress on the other side of the Danube from Aquincum.
