Our second walk in Mallorca was up Talaia d’Alcúdia, in the Alcúdia Peninsula. This hill is 445 metres high, so it’s a bit more strenuous than the Puig de Maria. Fat Mac might make it up this hill, but only if he’s been off the beer the night before. The starting point is the Santuario de la Victoria, where there’s a restaurant.
In the hut just below the top, shown in the photo above, there was a man sitting on a deckchair. That seemed to be his job.
