Potes is a very attractive place, especially, so I believe, when it stops raining. I wasn’t expecting to find a town with so many well-preserved old buildings.
After one glass of sidra in the Bar El Trenti I could tell it was deadly, so we didn’t go further down that path.
Instead, we spent an hour out of the rain in the Torre del Infantado, looking at a well designed and entertaining display about Beatus of Liébana and his illustrations of the Apocalypse, and listening to an incomprehensible tape about it. As with many things in Cantabria, entry was free.
