My McAfee saga came to an eventually happy conclusion. In addition to as previously described, it took a further two weeks, several phonecalls, many emails and three different McAfee techies using GoToAssist remote control of my laptop for a total of five hours to remove the old McAfee software and load the new McAfee antivirus software. Amazingly, they still charged me the full amount for their product. When I completed their user satisfaction survey with a ‘zero’ for overall satisfaction, they phoned me up to get the details.
End of the McAfee saga
