I used my National Entitlement Card for the first time today. It gives me free bus travel – just for being old!
I’ve added it to all the other cards I’ve collected recently.
You get all sorts of things, just for being old. I’ve had reduced prices for access to a couple of things since my 60th birthday.

Being old is fantastic. I now have time to train for half marathons, go cycling when it’s sunny, read books, listen to the radio, cook, use various discount coupons, and so on.
If only I’d become old earlier!
