By the time we got to Applecross, the weather was grim! Cold, wet, windy with sleet. Not summer camping weather at all, and in fact when we went down to the village, we saw the gritter pass by on its way to grit the Bealach na Bà. There were not many other campers that night, and the forecast was for more wind over the weekend.
To cheer us up, we had some wine, played Stevie Wonder and had a campervan disco!
Fortunately, however, the next day dawned fair, so we took off on our bikes. We cycled to the shoppie at Camusterrach, then on to Culduie, and then over to Ardban, where there is a coral beach.
