I went up Beinn Achaladair with JD on Thursday after camping at Strathfillan Wigwams campsite.
JD carries a lot of camera kit with him, everywhere, including memory cards with past photos. This enabled him to show me some photos of fishermen in Kerala, when we stopped for lunch on the shoulder of the hill.
During the day, I took 11 photos, and JD took 110, mostly of rocks (he’s a geologist). Shaun will be interested in JD’s photos.
70% of the conversation during the walk concerned, or was connected to, anal retention of one sort or another, a topic about which we both have opinions. Towards the end of the walk, and in full view of the goods train that passed nearby, JD took an outdoor brownpiece. I asked him whether he’d brought toilet paper with him just in case, or with an intention. I know that, like a werewolf, he likes to mark his territory when on a hill, so I wasn’t convinced by his answer.
