Good wishes for your new phase of life after retirement. However I believe your wisdom and insight is precious for library community and hope that this blog will be a good source for us to reach your insight.
Hello Roddy,
I just want to wish you a good and healthy retirement. We all go through this sooner or later. I also want to thank you for your fantastic contribution to our profession.
Good luck!
Best wishes Roddy, on your change of direction. The term ‘retirement’ is so suggestive of hanging around in God’s waiting room that I never use it. I too will soon be making a similar move. So much to do and the bliss of doing it on your own terms. We are so lucky to have theses choices. I will miss your Internet Resources Newsletter – so relevant and not bloated like some I have received.
All the best, with good skiing and no crevices on the slopes ahead – George
Thanks, Muhammad, Zahra, and George, for your kind comments.
I agree with George totally, Internet Resources newsletter was a joy to receive. Lost count of the links I was able to send on to others.

Hi Roddy,
Thanks for the tweet about Musopen. I’d love to chat with you about some questions regarding Musopen and your experience with library resources if you have some time. Is there an email address I could send you some questions to?
Sincerely,
Aaron
Aaron,
I’ll be mentioning Musopen in some other places. My email is mentioned at the top of this page, e.g.

Hi Roddy,
Thank you for your tweet about “New and Upcoming”. Hope you have a happy retirement and great health.
Thanks Jeffery. Not only are you a coder, but you’re also good at marketing.
Thank you for the complement and thank you for the new tweet too.

Hi,
I am a student from Lancaster University currently doing some research for
my undergraduate dissertation on the Edinburgh Tram Project. My aim is to
look at the costs and benefits of the project.
I am looking for people who live in Edinburgh to help me with my research.
I am trying to gain a variety of opinions on the tram project and was
wondering if I could ask you some questions via e-mail about your opinion
on the Edinburgh trams to include in my dissertation?
If you are interested in helping, please e-mail me.
I will look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
Nicola Waller
Hi Nicola,
Apart from being disgusted by the cost so far, and all the road diggings, I haven’t particularly followed the tram fiasco, but you can email me, and if I can’t answer your questions, I can probably pass them on to another Edinburgh resident.
