The Tall Thin One had tickets for Nerina Pallot, so after a meal at the Bonsai restaurant last night we went to the Pleasance Theatre and enjoyed an evening of music.
Solo performers are not usually my thing, but Nerina Pallot had a truly wonderful voice, the songs she played were lovely and also creative, and unlike several other venues in Edinburgh the acoustics in the theatre were excellent.
Throughout her performance I could vaguely hear a male voice in the audience singing along. It turned out to be The Tall Thin One, who has three of her albums.
How refreshing to hear audience members augmenting the music. Does one pay extra for that?
The Tall Thin One hasn’t got the best of voices.
Neither has the thin white duke but that hasn’t held him back.
I never liked his music. Apart from ‘Let’s Dance’
